Chocolate cakes in an hour

You need just about an hour to cook these fragrant, sugar-free, no-bake chocolate cakes. With just three ingredients (chocolate chips, pumpkin-apple puree, and coconut cream), this recipe is a delicious option for all occasions.

And the cakes are healthy too. Sweetened by only juicy baked apples and pumpkin, the candies amaze with their tender creamy coconut notes.

Ingredients for an easy chocolate dessert recipe

Chocolate chips, 200 gr

Coconut cream, 150 gr

Pumpkin-apple puree, 150 gr

You can buy all the ingredients in the supermarket or prepare them yourself. In the latter case, consider using the following useful resources:

  • Coconut cream: This informative post offers two ways of making coconut cream;
  • Chocolate: The 7-minute-long video shows the easiest way of making home chocolate with cocoa powder;
  • Pumpkin-apple puree: As a keen lover of baked pumpkin and apples, I use my own 3-step recipe for the puree: 1 Cut a washed pumpkin into small rectangular pieces (2-3 cm), split the green apples in half and remove the seeds. 2 Bake the fruits in the oven for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 185 degrees. 3 With a fork, make a puree with your favourite proportion of pumpkin and apple pieces.

1 With a teaspoon, put a small portion of the pumpkin apple puree on plastic freezer boards or containers. Put into the freezer for 20 minutes.

2 On top of the frozen fruit mixture, put the same amount of the coconut cream. Return the containers to the freezer for 20 more minutes.

3 Melt the chocolate chips in a pot for about 5 minutes.

4 Dip each frozen piece of fruity coconut mixture into chocolate for several seconds. Place them into the container and put them into the fridge for several minutes.

How to store no-bake chocolate cakes with coconut and pumpkin apple filling?

You can prepare a larger portion of these incredible sweets and store them for up to 2 months in the freezer. Before eating the dessert, keep it at room temperature for 30-40 minutes.
